Harvest 2020

This video was shot on a Leica Q2 and edited in Adobe Premier Pro. It was taken at my families ranch during 2020 harvest.

I conceptualized this idea in my notebook a few weeks prior to harvest. I thought about interviewing some of the farmers who would be harvesting, but ultimately came to the conclusion to keep it simple. The land would speak for itself and the famous “So God Made a Farmer” voiceover by Paul Harvey along with some moving music would convey the emotional and beautiful season that is harvest.

New York through my iPhone

This was all shot on an iPhone 8 and edited in Adobe Premier Pro.

I moved to New York City in August of 2018 and lived there through May 2019. It was my first time living away from home. The experience was energizing and overwhelming. I was a bit shaky, unsure at first, but by the end of my short time there, I was changed. New York City to me is a living breathing thing that I miss every day. I took hundreds of videos while I was there, all on my phone. I compiled just a few that bring me right back to a particular moment. I didn’t edit the videos, but put them in chronological order from when they were taken. I left them as is because it mirrors my time there: imperfect, vibrant and soul-stirring.

Blueberry Day 2020

This was shot on a Sony a7III and Edited in Adobe Premier Pro. Taken at my families ranch.

I tried to capture the lightness and pure fun that was had when some of the family went blueberry picking.
